Toro Robata Sushi

Toro Robata Sushi truly delivers an exceptional dining experience! The atmosphere is amazing.The chicken teriyaki rice was packed with flavour, tender, and perfectly cooked, complemented by a comforting bowl of miso soup. The salmon poke bowl was fresh, well-balanced, and absolutely delicious.The only downside was the chicken skewer, which, while tasty, felt quite pricey for the portion size. That said, the quality of the food and overall experience more than made up for it.Highly recommend for anyone craving high-quality Japanese cuisine. Will definitely be back!

Been wanting to try this place for a while and finally went here for Valentines’ dinner. Let me tell you, it did not disappoint. The food was amazing, so delicious, and the service was on point.Will definitely be coming here again

The best sushi restaurant I have been to in Wollongong. Great food. The sushi rolls are delicious. The beef skewers were the best, full of flavour. They make everything fresh and even the wasabi is great. The restaurant location is the best and the restaurant has a nice decor. One odd thing .. there is no dessert on the menu. Would have loved to have some Mochi. Not a big deal.. Definitely will be back again. One thing to be aware is the cost is , but worth it.

This has to be hands down the best sushi, Japanese restaurant around, the staff here are always sooo friendly and the service is great. The sushi rolls are well priced considering you pay more at an individual sushi place, all the rolls here taste super fresh and yummy! I live in Sydney and drive down here for lunch! Wouldn’t go anywhere else

One day when the weather was a little cold and sunny, I went to Toro Robata Sushi Restaurant for lunch.Before I left work and headed home, the cherry blossoms on the other side of McDonald's caught my eye. I googled the name on the sign and found out that it was a Japanese restaurant.I wanted to try the food of this restaurant, so I went in, and since it was a little cold, I ordered warm dishes and warm sake.I ordered Pork Gyoza, Udon Soup with Chicken, and Grilled Salmon Roll. Gyoza was slightly crispy but soft, Udon Soup had a great broth, and it was unique and good because it made udon noodles with the characteristics of Japanese cuisine, and the chicken stick inside the udon went well with the udon noodles and the sauce was really tasty.Grilled Salmon Roll had raw salmon and avocado inside, grilled salmon on top, and a special sauce on top. It was a beautiful combination of the sauce and salmon.I don't remember the name of the Warm Sake, but it had a clean and mild taste that spread in my mouth, and a subtle, soft vanilla scent tickled my nose.The atmosphere of the restaurant is absolutely brilliant and all the staff members are great at providing excellent service.I am so happy that there is a restaurant like this in Wollongong.Above all, this restaurant is amazing because it interprets Japanese food in a unique way with Toro’s own color, making the food really delicious. If I come back next time, I will definitely visit again with my family!

I struggle to find good quality jap restaurants in aus, but this restaurant was PHENOMENAL! The sashimi was so silky and rich, every bite melted in my mouth… it was so fantastic. I’m so mind blown

Came here for dinner with a group. The staff were very helpful and attentive. The food was all delicious!! Luckily we had a big round table, which enables us to order lots of different dishes to share. Would definitely recommend having dinner here, and would look forward to coming again!
